August 21, 2020 - On Tuesday, August 21, 2018, county boards in Langlade, Marquette, Forest, Lincoln, Eau Claire and Kenosha counties all voted to approve cannabis advisory referendums for the November 6, 2018 general election ballot. Pro-legalization Republican wins three-way primary in Neenah

August 13, 2020 - Newcomer Rachael Cabral-Guevara won a three-way Republican primary in the 55th Assembly District. During her campaign, Cabral-Guevara, a certified Nurse Practitioner, said she was open to "exploring legalizing marijuana for recreational use."
